Résumé
Objectifs : Étudier la place qu’attribue actuellement le sportif à l’ostéopathie dans la gestion de sa santé et dans la continuité l’intérêt d’avoir un ostéopathe au sein de l’équipe médicale.
Matériel et méthodes : Un questionnaire a été distribué aux rugbymen francophones des clubs français étant engagés en championnat Top 14.
Résultats : Nous avons obtenu 42 réponses, sur 3 clubs. Sur les 42 réponses, 100% consultent un ostéopathe.
Conclusion : L’ostéopathie est véritablement intégrée dans le milieu sportif professionnel, tous les clubs consultés sont rattachés à un ostéopathes et de plus, 100% des joueurs sondés consultent un ostéopathe, parmi eux 95% consultent l’ostéopathe du club. Cette étude a permis de montrer que l’engouement pour la discipline est récent, sans savoir s’il est dû a la grande demande des sportifs, la grande demande des équipes médicales ou la reconnaissance de la profession. Quoi qu’il en soit, les joueurs plébiscitent l’ostéopathie et sont convaincus que les consultations apportent un bénéfice à leur pratique sportive.

Abstract
Title : Integration of osteopaths in professional french rugby - Analysis of a questionnaire
Objectives : To study the place that is actually given to osteopathy by professional athletes in the gestion of their health and, in line, the interest in having an osteopath in the medical team.
Tools and method : A survey was distributed to French rugby players of French clubs being involved in the league Top 14 .
Results : We obtained 42 responses over 3 clubs. Of the 42 responses, 100 % consult an osteopath.
Conclusion : Osteopathy is truly integrated in the professional sports world, all the clubs consulted are found attached to an osteopath and, more, 100 % of the respondent players are consulting an osteopath, and among them 95 % the osteopath of the club.
This study showed that the popularity of the discipline is new, without knowing that it is due to the high de-mand of the athletes, the high demand of medical teams or recognition of the profession. Anyway, players plebiscite osteopathy and are convinced that consultations bring a real benefice to their sport.
