La perception haptique est donc tout à la fois cette capacité qu’à la main de se saisir d’un objet et d’en extraire de l’information sensitive. La maturation de cette sensorialité suit celle du système nerveux central
après la mise en place de l’efficience des capacités motrices. Cette main est l’outil diagnostic en médecine ostéopathique. C’est elle qui au travers d’un concept rattaché à un niveau de connaissance, rassemble et rapporte des invariants sensoriels permettant d’élaborer un diagnostic pour une approche thérapeutique.
Nous parcourrons ainsi les différents concepts en médecine ostéopathique par le biais d’un profil épistémologique de cette science comme le propose Gaston BACHELARD dans « la philosophie du non ». Nous accorderons également la possibilité à cette science de se rapprocher de la philosophie phénoménologique pour élargir au mieux son champ perceptuel.
Enfin nous proposerons un corollaire entre structuration dans le système nerveux central de l’information sensorielle et démarche sémantique.
La main devient donc cet outil référent, plus objectif, qui structure dans sa démarche et donne à la connaissance du corps en médecine ostéopathique sa précision.

Haptic perception is therefore at the same time the ability for the hand to grab an object and to extract sensory information from it. The maturation of this sensoriality follows that of the central nervous system after the setting of the motor capacities efficiency. This hand is the diagnostic tool
in osteopathic medecine. Through a concept linked to a level of knowledge, it gathers together and brings in sensorial invariants allowing to work out a diagnosis for a therapeutic approach.
We will go through the different concepts of osteopathic medicine by means of an epistemological profile of this science, as proposed by Gaston
BACHELARD in “The Philosophy of No”. We will also give this science the opportunity of bringing nearer to phenomenological philosophy to widen at best its perceptual field.
At last, we will propose a corollary between sensorial information structuring in the central nervous system and semantic processes.
So the hand becomes this referent tool, more objective, that structure its approach and gives its precision to the knowledge of the body in osteopathic medicine.
